On 1 October 2025, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts hosted a guided tour at Charlottenborg Palace in Copenhagen, offering visitors a unique journey through Danish art and history. The tour highlighted both well-known and hidden areas, including the iconic ballroom, Thorvaldsen’s former residence, and the remnants of Copenhagen’s first botanical garden, now known as Billedhuggerhaven.
Led by author, Ph.D., and museum curator Jens Tang Kristensen, participants experienced the living artistic environment of the academy, exploring historical ateliers and workshops where teaching and creative experimentation continue today. The one-hour tour emphasized the academy as a vibrant workspace and educational setting.
Tickets were priced at 90 DKK for general admission, 50 DKK for students, and free for under-16s.
