The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) has secured the coordinator role in nine Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks, representing the majority of Denmark’s total awards this year. These EU-funded programs will allow DTU to recruit 28 international PhD researchers, covering fields such as sustainable food production, space physics, advanced energy storage, neuromorphic computing, and photonic integrated circuits.
Including all MSCA networks involving DTU, a total of 49 PhD students will join the university. Prorector Christine Nellemann highlighted that the recognition demonstrates DTU’s academic strength and international collaboration capacity. Each program runs for four years with budgets between 3 and 4.5 million euros, connecting universities, industry, and public institutions across Europe.
