The University of South Bohemia has deepened its collaboration with the Czech Ministry of Agriculture by signing a memorandum of understanding at the Země živitelce fair. The agreement, signed by Rector Pavel Kozák and Minister Marek Výborný, aims to strengthen ties between academia and practice while supporting the education of skilled professionals.
The partnership will provide students with internship opportunities at ministry facilities, while ministry experts will contribute to teaching, supervision of theses, and educational events such as workshops and conferences. Both parties will focus on innovation, environmental challenges, and sustainable solutions in agriculture.
The University of South Bohemia now joins the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Mendel University in Brno in close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, enhancing research, education, and practical training in the agricultural sector.
