Chalmers University of Technology officially installed 17 new professors during a ceremonial event held on March 2026. The ceremony, which takes place every two years, also recognized adjunct, affiliated, and guest professors. The newly appointed professors represent a wide range of fields including physics, mathematics, engineering, materials science, and environmental studies. University leadership highlighted the important role professors play as leaders in research, educators, and a bridge between academia and society.
