The National University of Public Service (NKE) organized a charity basketball gala at the Ludovika Arena to support families affected by the recent natural disaster in Parajd, Székelyföld. The catastrophic event forced locals to leave their homes and led to the closure of the famous salt mine, a key source of tourism and employment in the region.
The event opened with remarks from Kiss Lenke, 328-time Hungarian national team player and founder of the Kiss Lenke Academy, who initiated the gala. Báder Márton, president of the Hungarian Basketball Federation, also addressed the audience, emphasizing unity and support for those in need.
The evening featured a variety of engaging programs, including a baskin demo match promoting inclusive sports, a Slam Dunk Show, and a star-studded game between musicians and Olympians, with appearances by fan favorites like T.Danny, BSW Gabi, and Sticza. The gala concluded with a high-energy performance by the Face Team.
