On June 23, 2025, Kodolányi University’s Communication team secured a bronze medal in basketball at the 17th Arany Glóbusz Media Cup, a long-standing sports tradition bringing together media professionals and their families for friendly competition and recreation.
Held this year at Kodolányi University’s Budapest campus, the finals featured spirited matches in both basketball and football. The event has grown into a Carpathian Basin-wide celebration, with teams from beyond Hungary’s borders now participating.
While the Budapest Fényei team took the basketball gold and the Debrecen Media Center won the football cup, Kodolányi’s strong performance on the court earned them a well-deserved place on the podium.
The event also welcomed families and children, providing playful activities and sports opportunities for all ages, reinforcing the community spirit of the media world.
