The 2024/2025 academic year marks a milestone in the international engagement of Eötvös József College (EJF), as the institution implemented its first-ever training-focused mobility under the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility program, expanding beyond traditional teaching exchanges.
This initiative opened new professional avenues between EJF and its partner institution in Bijeljina, broadening collaboration outside the European Union. The program also provided a valuable platform for dialogue, cultural connections, and true two-way knowledge exchange.
In May 2025, Szekulity Lívia, Kocsis Júlia, Kecskés Nóra, and Végel Gyöngyi, staff members of EJF, took part in this pioneering exchange. “Despite our different fields, we had a shared experience that improved the effectiveness of our cooperation and required an integrated approach,” participants noted. The mobility also allowed the teams to discuss best practices for managing mobility applications, selection processes, implementation, and dissemination — topics that had previously been explored mainly through teaching visits.
Insights from this training mobility are already shaping EJF’s internationalization strategy. Evaluations by the International Group at the college will help build even stronger professional ties between the institutions.
