Miskolc University is offering a valuable second chance for prospective students to enroll in its September 2025 intake through the supplementary admissions process. Both state-funded and self-financed study places remain open, with the application deadline set for August 7, 2025, at midnight.
“Those who missed out during the regular admission round or didn’t apply at all shouldn’t be discouraged,” said Prof. Dr. Horváth Zita, Rector of Miskolc University, during the PontOtt Party on July 23. “Our university’s faculties continue to welcome applicants in this supplementary phase.”
The university provides state-funded spots in key fields such as Informatics (100 places), Engineering (60), Medical and Health Sciences (50), Teacher Training (65), Sports Sciences (30), and Natural Sciences (30). Meanwhile, programs in Humanities, Economics, Law, Arts, and Social Sciences are still open for applications, but only on a self-financed basis.
Highlighting innovation, the Faculty of Health Sciences will launch a new Master’s program in Medical Diagnostic Sonography this September, available both state-funded and self-financed, in a flexible part-time format.
This supplementary admission opportunity is open exclusively to applicants who were not admitted or did not submit any applications during the general admission round. Interested candidates must apply via the official e-felvi platform by August 7 and complete authentication through Ügyfélkapu+ or the Digital Citizenship (DÁP) app.
