BUDAPEST – August 6, 2025 – Karoli Gaspar Reformed University cordially invites all students and guests to its ceremonial academic year opening worship service, which will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Reformed Church on Kalvin Square (1091 Budapest, Kálvin tér 7).
The sermon will be delivered by Istvan Szabo, Deputy Rector for Religious Affairs. Rector Laszlo Trocsanyi and Minister Gergely Gulyas, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, will offer welcome speeches during the event.
As part of the service, first-year students will take their official oath, marking the beginning of their academic journey at the university. Incoming students can register for the ceremony through the Neptun system, under the Requests menu via the event registration form.
Attendees are kindly requested to arrive no later than 9:45 AM.
