The University of Pecs has announced the launch of the 2026 call for the EDUC Staff Secondment Programme, offering non-academic staff members a unique opportunity to work at another EDUC partner university for a period of two to six months. This initiative is designed to promote knowledge exchange, foster international collaboration, and strengthen institutional partnerships across the European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) Alliance.
What is the programme about?
Through this secondment opportunity, participants can apply for open positions at partner universities including the University of Paris–Nanterre, University of Rennes, University of South-Eastern Norway, and University of Potsdam, among others.
Each host university will offer visiting staff members a structured onboarding process, workspace access, IT support, and guidance with accommodation and immigration if needed. Participants will also receive training and an orientation programme upon arrival.
Eligibility and application
Candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
- Relevant work experience
- Proficiency in English or the host country’s language (minimum B2 level)
- A strong recommendation from their immediate supervisor
- Mutual agreement between the sending and host institutions
Applications must be submitted in English by 15 September 2025 using the official application form. Staff interested in applying for more than one position must submit a separate application for each.
Financial support
To support mobility, the EDUC Alliance will provide a €1,000 monthly housing allowance to all participants. Additionally, those seconded to specific institutions will receive a €500 bonus per month.
