
Morgan Stanley’s Deleverage and Lending group in Budapest is hiring a Portfolio Data Analyst, offering graduates a chance to gain hands-on experience in global lending and capital markets. The role includes technical training in securitized products, structured credit, and proprietary systems, along with exposure to the firm’s London operations.
Key tasks include analyzing client portfolios of leveraged loans and high-yield bonds, handling client funding requests, developing transaction and collateral monitoring systems, conducting market and asset research, and collaborating with the securitized products structuring team on new securitization transactions.
Candidates should hold a BSc or MSc in finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field, with 0–2 years’ professional experience, ideally in a financial institution, rating agency, or accounting firm. Strong data management skills, proficiency in Excel (pivot tables), and database knowledge (Access or SQL is an advantage) are required, along with good English communication skills.
