The Academic Senate Election Commission of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague has officially announced the election process for selecting a new rector candidate. Members or groups of the academic community can submit proposals between September 15 and September 29, 2025, during designated office hours at the university’s Legal Department. Each submission must include the candidate’s full name, workplace, and contact details if the nominee is from outside the university.
The election schedule is as follows:
- Submission of candidate proposals – September 15–29, 2025 (until 12:00 on the final day)
- Candidate response period – September 30–October 13, 2025
- Official announcement of candidates – October 14, 2025
- Academic Community Assembly – October 22, 2025, at 14:00 (University Library)
- Election by the Academic Senate – October 23, 2025, at 10:00
