The University of Dunaújváros recently hosted a week-long European summer camp for nearly 100 Hungarian youth from the diaspora, as part of the Rákóczi Association’s year-round youth programs. Participants from across Europe—including Sweden, Germany, and the UK—engaged in Hungarian language and cultural activities, sports, and excursions.
University staff led interactive workshops showcasing study opportunities and campus life, while also introducing students to Dunaújváros’s history and attractions. The initiative aimed to strengthen cultural identity, build friendships, and encourage future studies in Hungary.
This camp is one of several the Rákóczi Association organizes annually, with the broader goal of connecting young Hungarians worldwide and deepening their ties to their heritage.
