From August 21 to 24, 2025, the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague will present an interactive model of urban water retention at the Země Živitelka international agricultural fair in Ceske Budejovice. Developed by the Faculty of Environmental Sciences within the European TransformAr project, the model demonstrates how blue-green infrastructure helps cities manage heavy rainfall and heat waves. Visitors can simulate rainfall and observe differences in water runoff and surface temperatures between green and impermeable urban areas, highlighting sustainable solutions for urban climate adaptation.
