Students in the Master in Diplomacy and Global Governance at the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG) successfully completed the 2025 intensive Capstone course led by Dr. Elena Atanassova-Cornelis and Dr. Vira Ratsiborynska.
The course focused on the European Union’s policy towards the Indo-Pacific region and featured direct engagement with the European External Action Service (EEAS). Mr. Charles Whiteley, Head of Division South Asia at the EEAS, provided valuable insights into EU policy challenges and diplomatic dynamics, offering students practical exposure to real-world policymaking.
The Capstone course exemplifies BSoG’s STEP approach, bridging academic knowledge with applied skills. By addressing real-life policy issues for external partners, students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and solution-oriented research skills while preparing for careers in international and governmental organizations.
