Ten students from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen participated in the 20th Temelín Summer University, gaining rare access to the nuclear power plant and its restricted areas. From July 28 to August 8, participants explored technical excursions, control room simulators, and turbine halls under strict safety protocols.
Students also met specialists including the plant director, Jan Kruml, and engaged in discussions that may lead to future collaborations on nuclear energy projects. Beyond technical learning, the program included cultural and team-building activities such as bike trips, brewery visits, theater, and climbing routes, creating a memorable summer experience.
