
The rector and several colleagues of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences were honored with state awards at a ceremony held at the Pesti Vigado on the occasion of the national holiday of August 20.
Awards recognized outstanding contributions in education, research, and innovation across multiple fields, including agriculture, landscape architecture, animal sciences, and food economics. Honorees included Dr. Csaba Gyuricza, Rector; Dr. Katalin Posta, Vice Rector for Science and Quality Assurance; and other faculty and retired scientists for their exceptional professional achievements.
The ceremony featured awards such as the Hungarian Order of Merit, the Tree of Life Memorial Plaque, and the Ignác Darányi Award, presented by government ministers and the President of the Republic of Hungary.
