The University of Lisbon has announced that students who cannot complete their student identification card request online may do so in person at Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) service stands, available at the Rector’s building and at the university’s schools. At the time of the request, students will immediately receive a provisional identification card.
For those choosing the online process, once registration is completed in the FenixEdu academic system, students are redirected to the CGD onboarding page. Alternatively, they can later access it via the Personal Area section. A valid Digital Mobile Key is required, and students must authorize data sharing with CGD in FenixEdu.
This initiative ensures that all students, regardless of their preferred method, can obtain their identification card efficiently and without delay.
