The Brno University of Technology, through its CEITEC research center, will represent Czech excellence in laser, photonics, and space technologies at the upcoming Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The university will participate in the international conference Photonics & Lasers: Designing the Future Society – Vision 2040, held in the Czech Pavilion from September 9–11, alongside leading European and Japanese institutions.
CEITEC researchers will present advanced methods in X-ray micro and nano tomography for battery inspection and laser-induced plasma spectroscopy for industrial and space applications, including geological and astrogeological studies. Partner start-ups such as CactuX and Lightigo, both emerging from CEITEC, will also showcase their technological innovations.
The event will gather top scientists, industry leaders, and policy representatives, aiming to foster international collaboration and highlight Czech contributions to cutting-edge research and industrial applications.
