Professor Lars A. Buchhave and the Exoplanet Group at DTU Space are studying exoplanets to explore whether life exists beyond Earth. By analyzing atmospheres of Earth-like planets, including the Trappist-1 system, researchers aim to understand the prevalence of habitable conditions in the Milky Way. The study combines precise measurements, climate models, and interdisciplinary collaboration with geobiologists and planetary scientists to assess the potential for extraterrestrial life.
