Two alumni of Corvinus University of Budapest, Gabriella Szucsik-Kiss and Balázs Szonder, have transformed their Executive MBA learnings into MVM’s internal leadership development initiative. The program, called MVM Catalyst, concluded its pilot year this spring with 75 participating leaders.
Drawing heavily on the structured methodologies and teamwork-based learning of the Corvinus eMBA, the alumni developed a system that promotes collaboration, creativity, and stronger leadership practices. Their program has already reduced silo operations within MVM and increased overall employee satisfaction and retention.
The initiative, designed in parallel with their eMBA studies, reflects the university’s emphasis on practical, real-world applications of academic knowledge. Plans are underway to expand the program into a talent pipeline for young professionals with leadership potential.
Both alumni stress that investing in employee training is not a risk but a strategic advantage, helping companies retain talent while enhancing organizational performance.
