Representatives from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, including Vice-Rector for Internationalization Prof. Ing. Marek Kubalčík, Ph.D., and Head of the International Office Mgr. Pavel Býček, participated in an international mission to Taiwan and Japan under the auspices of the Czech House for International Cooperation.
The mission aimed to establish new academic contacts and strengthen cooperation with universities in these strategic regions. Taiwan is a key partner for UTB, where the university currently collaborates with nine institutions and plans further expansion. The delegation also participated in Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, contributing to the Czech pavilion, with UTB students and alumni involved in design and organization.
The mission culminated in Czech Day at the Expo, where UTB representatives met the President of the Czech Republic.
