Adventist Theological College, together with the Adventist–Jewish Friendship Service, organized a special Passover Seder night at the Seventh-day Adventist Church Center in Pécel, led by Dr. Imre Tokics, university professor. The event welcomed Fináli Gábor, chief rabbi of Budapest, as the special guest, who shared the story and traditions of the Jewish exodus, the meaning of Passover, and the importance of remembrance and gratitude.
The Seder plate, prepared by Ilona Balla, showcased the symbolic foods and connected participants to both faith traditions. The evening included prayers, songs, and readings, celebrating the common values of freedom and deliverance. Guests from the college and the Adventist community joined together in a spirit of unity, singing Hebrew songs and reflecting on the shared significance of the holiday.
This was the fourth time the Adventist Theological College has hosted such an event, fostering interfaith dialogue and community spirit.
