Andrássy University Budapest’s Mitteleuropa-Zentrum hosted the book presentation of “Kaunitz und der aufgeklärte Absolutismus” by Franz A.J. Szabo. The renowned historian discussed the system of Enlightened Absolutism in the Habsburg Monarchy and the legacy of Chancellor Kaunitz, a figure Szabo has studied for decades. The event marked the first German edition release of Szabo’s life’s work after 30 years of research.
