Registration for the 2025/2026 academic year through the e-Rekrutacja system opened on August 7.
The AGH Doctoral School offers education in 17 scientific disciplines across four main fields:

Humanities:
- Cultural and Religious Studies
AGH is one of 10 Polish universities participating in the Ministry’s “Excellence Initiative – Research University” (IDUB) program. This initiative supports early-career researchers by offering:
- Increased scholarships for top PhD students
- Mini-grants for research activities
- Study visits and internships at international research centers
- Awards for scientific achievements
- Funding for open access and paid journal publications
AGH is also a participant in the Ministry’s Implementation Doctorate program, which funds PhD research conducted in collaboration with socio-economic stakeholders. Over 200 doctoral students at AGH have already benefited from this career path.
