
Bogdan Dugalić won first prize at the piano category of the International Mozart Competition held at Mozarteum University Salzburg from February 2026. The competition featured 25 pianists from 15 countries. Dugalić received the €10,000 first prize donated by Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik GmbH.In addition to the top prize, Dugalić also earned the Audience Prize and the Special Prize from the International Society for Contemporary Music for his interpretation of a contemporary piece by Johannes Maria Staud.Second prize, worth €7,000, was awarded to Elisey Mysin, while Anastasiia Kliuchereva received the third prize of €5,000. The finalists performed with the Mozarteum University Academy Orchestra under conductor Ion Marin during the final concert.The International Mozart Competition is one of the leading music competitions for young artists and highlights exceptional talent in classical performance.
