Chalmers University of Technology is reorganizing its research structure by creating three new departments: environmental and energy sciences, physics and astronomy, and mechanical engineering. The aim is to improve collaboration, increase international visibility, and enhance academic quality. Additionally, a new maritime school, Chalmers School of Maritime Studies, has been established to strengthen maritime education and industry cooperation.
