The Rector of Charles University, Prof. MUDr. Milena Králíčková, Ph.D., has dismissed Jaroslav Brož from his role as Dean of the Catholic Theological Faculty at the request of the faculty’s Academic Senate. The decision follows concerns over the faculty’s preparedness for the 2025/2026 winter semester and the lack of an approved budget. With no confidence in the remaining Vice-Dean, Doc. PhDr. Aleš Prázný, Ph.D., the Rector has appointed Mgr. Michaela Falátková, Ph.D., as interim head until new dean elections are held in the near future.
