Graduating classical ballet students at the Hungarian University of Dance (MTE) are preparing for their final qualification exams, marking the culmination of nine years of intensive training. The exams, scheduled for February 2026, are both physically and mentally demanding, requiring months of preparation in areas such as classical ballet, modern dance, and lifting techniques.
Head teachers Eszter Kazinczy and Zoltán Oláh emphasized the importance of the exams as a milestone in the students’ professional development. Oláh noted that the evaluation committee consists of top professionals in the field, making the exams both challenging and prestigious. Kazinczy highlighted the students’ long-term growth at MTE, describing the school as a place where dancers are shaped through rigorous training and mentorship.
Masters and professional instructors supporting the students include Noémi Kulcsár, Sándor Turi, Dr. Mariann Gaál, Kitti Hajszán, Tamás Darai, and Roland Kósa. The graduating students include Iza Fasun, Panna Hűvös, Natsuki Itoh, Fruzsina Merza, Lili Németh, Ayane Nishio, Ako Ohmiya, Lili Pásztor, Clémence Rhode, Mirtill Szerencsés, Liza Szűcs, Zhang Zhilling, Levente Bajusz, Sámuel Hotorán, and Gergő Hotorán.
