The initiative is part of the MonStur in the Danube program, which focuses on mapping habitats and improving conservation cooperation across countries.Researchers and conservation experts emphasized the importance of tracking migration routes, identifying key habitats, and coordinating international protection efforts to ensure the long-term survival of native sturgeon species.
