the Hungarian Faculty Developers’ Forum returned for its second edition, hosted once again by Corvinus University of Budapest, in partnership with Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary (KRE) and Budapest Business University (BBU).
The event brought together faculty developers, digital education experts, and administrative professionals from across the country to deepen collaboration and share practical solutions for enhancing higher education.
Highlights of the day included a keynote presentation by Kata Dósa (Corvinus), Ida Dringó-Horváth (KRE), and Adrienn Papp-Danka (BBU), who shared insights from their research on evolving knowledge-sharing practices in US faculty development networks, such as POD.
Workshops covered a range of topics from AI integration in Moodle, PEEP methodology from John von Neumann University, to international student support and mental health. Afternoon breakout sessions titled “We are in the same boat!” encouraged collaborative problem-solving among educators, IT support, and administrators.
The forum once again emphasized the importance of cooperation, innovation, and community in addressing the ongoing challenges of higher education.
