Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem marked an important academic milestone as six candidates completed their habilitation and 28 doctoral students received their diplomas at this year’s formal Doctoral Award Ceremony.
The event opened with remarks by Zoltán Balázs, Chair of the Corvinus Doctoral Council, followed by speeches from Rector Bruno van Pottelsberghe and Alexandra Bagi on behalf of the Doctoral Student Association. A short musical performance added to the festive atmosphere.
Habilitated scholars first took their oath and received their certificates. Then, graduates from the university’s four doctoral schools stepped forward to take their doctoral oath and were awarded their diplomas, formally joining the academic community as newly conferred doctors.
Congratulations to all new doctors and habilitated scholars on reaching this significant achievement!
