Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem proudly recognized Sainath Adelli, a graduate of the Corvinus MBA program, with the Next Generation Alumni Impact Award at this year’s Annual Alumni Reunion on June 12. Sainath, originally from India, arrived in Budapest in 2021 through a scholarship and quickly embraced the Corvinus community—both personally and professionally.
Beyond excelling in his studies, Sainath became known for his open, supportive attitude. From helping international classmates adjust to Hungary’s customs to taking the lead in structuring MBA business projects, he demonstrated the value of initiative. “Things only change around us if we take control and do something about them,” he explained.
After graduating in 2023, Sainath joined ExxonMobil but remained closely connected to Corvinus. As part of the Corvinus Alumni Ambassador Program, he mentors current students, offers career guidance, and actively participates in alumni events. “I received so much support from the university that I can’t imagine doing anything other than giving back,” he shared.
Looking ahead, he hopes to start a business that bridges his native India and his “second home,” Hungary. Reflecting on the award, Sainath noted, “I never imagined I would find such an inclusive community here or that my efforts would be recognized. It feels like a dream come true for me and my family.”
