Thanks to the generosity of the Corvinus University of Budapest Trade Union, children from the Abaújszántó Roma Nationality Self-Government and their families enjoyed a week-long holiday at Lake Balaton. From 23 to 30 June 2025, they stayed at the union’s holiday home in Káptalanfüred — for many children, it was their first ever glimpse of the lake.
Special thanks go to Trade Union Committee members Mari Sárosi and Gábor Toronyai for the donation, Corvinus lecturer Bulcsú Hoppál for organizing the trip, and alumnus József Schneider for helping with logistics. Their combined efforts offered these families a memorable experience and meaningful break.
