
The Gdańsk University of Technology will host the 5th, anniversary edition of the international DEA Club Conference at the “Eureka” Conference and Rehabilitation Center in Sopot. The event gathers leading scientists from around the world working on Dissociative Electron Attachment (DEA) processes, crucial for understanding mechanisms in:Industrial processesMedicine (e.g., interactions of ionizing radiation with biological matter)Environmental protectionAtmospheric chemistry and plasma physicsOver 50 researchers from 20 countries have already registered, highlighting the conference’s strong international profile. The event is supported by the IDUB – Carbonium program, with honorary patronage from Krzysztof Wilde. Media partners include Springer and Frontiers.Registration is open until March 29. The conference is organized by PG’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, with Małgorzata Śmiałek-Telega serving as the organizer.
