The Ostrava University will host the 7th annual Za kariérOU festival on 22 April at the City Campus OU. The event will feature over 70 employers and partners from sectors including private companies, non-profits, education, healthcare, and public administration. Students, graduates, and the general public are invited to explore internships, part-time jobs, and career opportunities.The festival will offer interactive workshops, lectures, and discussions on topics such as job interviews, stress management, and unconventional career paths through student organizations. Participating employers include Česká televize, Hyundai, CERN, Barclays, the Czech Army, Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna, Paměť národa, Třinecké železárny, Veolia, and ČSOB Stavební spořitelna.Students can plan their festival day using the Eventee app, which provides employer profiles, program notifications, and interactive features for workshops. The university has declared a rektor’s holiday for the day, allowing students to fully participate.
