Dunaújváros University and the city of Mohács signed a strategic partnership on aimed at supporting regional development, local communities, and retaining young talent.
The agreement, signed by Dr. István András, Rector of DUE, and Mayor Gábor Pávkovics, focuses on knowledge-based growth, human resource development, and collaboration between education, innovation, and local government sectors.
As part of the initiative, DUE will launch a technical manager training course in Mohács from September 1, 2027, combining local theoretical classes with lab-based sessions at the university headquarters. The program aims to provide meaningful education and career opportunities for local youth while strengthening the region’s identity and human capital.
