Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) has introduced two new members to its Student Services Centre ahead of the 2025 academic year. Brian Óg Corr joins as Sports & Societies Officer, bringing over a decade of experience with Leinster GAA, while Naoise Weldon takes on the role of Pastoral Care Co-ordinator, focusing on student wellbeing and inclusive support.
Brian Óg will support more than 60 clubs and societies, helping students engage in activities from athletics and fencing to photography and circus arts. Naoise will provide pastoral care, promoting social, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, and advocating for inclusive practices, particularly for the LGBTQI+ community.
Both are committed to enhancing student experiences at DkIT, encouraging participation, personal growth, and community engagement. The Student Services Centre remains open to all students seeking guidance, support, or opportunities to get involved.
