RCSI has joined the newly launched ARC Hub for HealthTech, a €34.3 million initiative funded by the Irish Government and the EU to accelerate the commercialisation of patient-focused health technologies. Hosted by the University of Galway in partnership with RCSI and Atlantic Technological University, the hub brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry to fast-track innovations such as smart implants, wearable devices, sensors, and AI-driven solutions for chronic disease management. Twenty-three projects are currently underway, aiming to transform research into real-world healthcare solutions while supporting entrepreneurial development for scientists and engineers.
