
On the second edition of the Science Communication 360 conference took place at the Jinonice Campus, organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, and the SciComHub platform. The conference focused on enhancing public engagement, addressing misinformation, and exploring innovative approaches to science communication across disciplines.
Keynotes included Christina Beck from the Max Planck Society, who highlighted the evolving role of science communication in a highly algorithmic world, and Tomáš Koblížek from the Institute of Philosophy, sharing challenges in communicating science on sensitive societal topics. Afternoon participatory forums allowed participants to discuss interdisciplinary communication, institutional support, and media relations. Insights from the conference will be compiled into a proceedings volume to guide future initiatives.
