Students from Edutus University’s Cultural Management postgraduate program and Commerce and Marketing undergraduate program traveled to Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, for a study trip under the RRF-2.1.2-21 project.
During their visit, the group met with leaders of Culture for Change, a cross-cultural network focused on leveraging cultural and social innovation, sustained through community-building and civil partnerships. Participants gained insight into the organization’s operating model and long-term sustainability strategies.
The program also included a visit to International Hellenic University (IHU), where Prof. Dr. Pantelis Kyrmizoglou presented the structure of Greek higher education, the university’s programs, international partnerships, and funding models, all emphasizing IHU’s strong focus on internationalization.
A guided city tour offered participants a view into Greece’s millennia-old history and showed how both tangible and intangible cultural heritage are woven into daily life. The trip provided firsthand experience with another country’s cultural institutions and helped build valuable international connections.
