Eskild Petersen, specialist in infectious diseases and Dr. med., has been appointed adjunct professor at Roskilde University. With this appointment, he will play an even more central role at the RUC-based PandemiX Center of Excellence, a multidisciplinary research center studying patterns, dynamics, and health impacts of historical and current pandemics. Petersen is an internationally recognized expert in infectious diseases and professor emeritus at Aarhus University’s Department of Clinical Medicine. His appointment period at Roskilde University is from February 1, 2025, to May 31, 2029.
