
The Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice hosted a meeting of the Regional Innovation Platform focused on chemistry. The event aimed to strengthen cooperation between academia, industry partners in the Pardubice Region, and other regional institutions.Participants were introduced to a current materials research project developing advanced materials using modern technologies. Discussions also covered potential areas of expertise for collaboration with companies and organizations across the region.A key topic was the shortage of qualified graduates for the chemical industry and the need for stronger support of higher education from regional authorities. Representatives also addressed intellectual property protection in relation to doctoral research and publication requirements.The meeting confirmed a shared commitment to deeper cooperation, innovation development, and enhancing the region’s competitiveness through science and technology transfer.
