Samantha Arpas, a 26-year-old KTH Royal Institute of Technology alumna, moved from Canada to Sweden to study at KTH, drawn by the university’s strong ties to industry and career-focused programs. Today, she works at SEB developing financial products that support sustainable transformation, addressing climate risks such as extreme weather and floods.
Arpas credits KTH’s events, internships, and international opportunities for helping her secure a full-time position in Sweden even before graduation. She now mentors international KTH students and participates in the Alumni Advisory Board, contributing to the university’s global perspective and upcoming 200-year jubilee celebrations.
