Two trainee teachers from Universidad Pontificia Comillas completed five weeks of teaching practice in Czech schools through the EUPeace alliance, hosted by the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Despite language barriers, they taught English, joined classroom activities, and gained intercultural experience.A key innovation of the alliance is the Wellbeing Journal, a reflective diary designed to support student teachers emotionally during international placements. The tool helps participants process cultural differences, personal challenges, and professional growth. The initiative aims to build a long-term network of partner schools across Europe, strengthening cooperation and promoting inclusion, diversity, and teacher wellbeing. Czech students are also expected to join partner institutions abroad in the coming academic year.
