Applications have officially opened for the September 2026 intake at Gabor Denes University (GDE). Prospective students can apply for bachelor’s and master’s programs through Hungary’s official higher education admission platform, felvi.hu, with the deadline set for February 15, 2026 at midnight.
The university welcomes applicants interested in information technology, digital economy and technical fields, particularly those aiming to gain practical, industry-relevant knowledge during their studies.
GDE offers four bachelor’s (BSc) and two master’s (MSc) programs in both full-time and distance learning formats. State-funded and self-financed study options are available. One of the master’s programs is offered in English.
The institution places strong emphasis on innovation-driven fields, including a nationally unique FinTech specialization and dedicated drone technology training, where students work with real equipment and industry research projects.
Distance learning programs are conducted fully online, with no on-campus attendance requirement. Meanwhile, on-campus students study at the university’s centrally located Budapest campus, which is set to expand with new laboratories and modern technology facilities from 2026.
According to the university, its small-scale academic environment allows for closer student-lecturer interaction and personalized mentoring.
Applications can be submitted exclusively via the official admission system at felvi.hu.
