The Government of the Republic of Slovenia has approved the merger of the Faculty of Polymer Technology into the University of Primorska.Following the decision, a formal merger agreement will be signed, after which accreditation procedures and administrative steps will be completed. The faculty, based in Slovenj Gradec, offers study programmes in polymer technologies and materials, with a strong focus on biopolymers, recycling, and sustainable solutions.With the merger, all accredited programmes, students, staff, and institutional responsibilities will transfer to the university, which will expand its activities into the fields of technology and engineering.
