Eötvös József Főiskola held its 2025 summer graduation ceremony on June 20 at the Dr. Pósta Sándor Sports Hall, celebrating the achievements of students completing a wide range of degree and advanced training programmes.
The event honored graduating students from programs such as German and Croatian minority education, early childhood education, business and management, and pedagogical postgraduate training. Rector Dr. Ibolya Szilágyiné Szinger addressed the attendees, highlighting the shared memories and academic challenges of the graduates’ journey. “Today, you don’t just receive a diploma—you receive a mission to create value and live with openness,” she said.
Zsigó Róbert, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, praised the college’s long-standing role in the region and urged graduates to embrace and develop their talents for national benefit.
The ceremony included emotional farewell speeches, poetry, musical performances, and the awarding of the Baja Higher Education Awards. Four graduates were also recognized with rectorial commendations for outstanding performance.
The celebration concluded with the traditional cap toss, a symbolic gesture of both ending and new beginnings.
