TU Graz participates in the EU project SUPREME to develop a PFAS-free, cost-efficient electrolyser for green hydrogen. The project aims to reduce environmental hazards, cut the use of scarce materials like iridium, and make green hydrogen more sustainable and economically viable for industrial applications such as ammonia, methanol, and steel production. TU Graz focuses on evaluating alternative materials for membranes and ensuring their durability and efficiency in industrial operation.
