Hungary — The Hungarian University of Fine Arts (HUFA) has established a new academic partnership with the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in China, strengthening international ties and creating new opportunities for mobility and collaboration.
A six-member delegation from Hubei visited HUFA on June 26 to formalize the cooperation. During the discussions, the Chinese institution proposed a range of initiatives, including a three-week government-supported mobility program to host HUFA faculty members for teaching engagements.
Plans also include mutual student exchanges and tuition-based short-term summer courses. Additionally, Hubei expressed interest in HUFA’s doctoral programs, opening the door to further academic collaboration.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the heads of both universities, marking the start of a partnership aimed at fostering cultural and educational exchange between Hungary and China.
